Dont know how true this is yet. If its true the amount Klein gave Michael of Demerol, then thats doubt enough I think for a jury to find Murray not guilty. I mean 51 injections in 3 months time. That seems like an awful lot. I was really hoping this wouldnt make it to trial. Maybe the prosecution can show that its not alot for whatever Michael was having done. I wont lie, it worries me some. I just know Michael is going to be on trial here and not Murray. It will be a smear campaign.

Michael Jackson's dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein has surrendered his medical records to Los Angeles court officials after losing his battle to keep the papers detailing his services and prescriptions pertaining to the late King of Pop private.

Lawyers for Jackson's physician Dr. Conrad Murray, who stands accused of administering the powerful dose of anasthetic Propofol which led to Jackson's death, sensationally blamed Klein, for fueling the singer's drug addiction. They claimed Klein had administered 51 injections of the painkiller Demerol to the singer in the three months leading up to his passing.

Legal documents state, "Due to Mr. Klein's actions, Mr. Jackson became physiologically and psychologically dependent on Demerol... Dr. Klein is a relevant and highly material witness to the defense."

Klein attempted to fight the request to hand over his paperwork by appealing to a Los Angeles judge in March, but he was forced to give up his documents during a pretrial hearing on Wednesday, reports TMZ.com.

Murray has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter, stemming from the death of the superstar in June 2009. He is due to stand trial in May.

See, I knew they would find something to get the Dr. acquitted.

From what I know, this seems to be way more than Klein should have given him. A couple of years ago, before I had back surgery, my doctor gave me demerol shots so that I could walk without falling to the floor in pain (seriously). In one weeks' time, he gave me four shots. I called back the next week to see if I could get another one and he said no; that I had already gotten the max I could get. And I don't think he did that just to cover his ass. He knew how much pain I was in. I literally couldn't walk without a cane and, even then, it was "iffy". Something was pinching the sciatic nerve and pain would shoot down my leg to my toes and I would double over. I don't know what kind of pain MJ was in but, just from my experience, 51 doses in three months time seems like a lot. That would be 4 shots every week for three months.

However, I'm not sure how this would get Murray acquitted. Just because Klein gave him all of that demerol doesn't mean that Murray didn't act irresponsibly. It might show that MJ had a drug problem. Except that, if Klein loaded MJ up with demerol the day before and Murray was not aware of it, he might be acquitted due to ignorance. If I remember correctly, Murray didn't give MJ any demerol, did he?

So many "ifs".

All it takes is one little seed to plant reasonable doubt. If they think he was a drug addict then they could also think he wasnt in his right mind or just desperate enough. There are other things besides this to cause reasonable doubt, thats not why I'm worried about this. I'm worried about this because its going to be a smear campaign and Michael will be on trial instead of Murray. Its going to be ugly I fear.

I'm sure you're right, Dareme. It's not fair when Michael isn't the one on trial this time.
